Support for When Things Change
Living on a Centrelink income can be tough. Losing your job, getting a really big bill, getting really ill, going through a family breakdown, are things that do lead to financial hardship. If you’re doing it tough, don’t suffer in silence, reach out to our staff who will be able to provide some level of support to assist you to overcome your financial hardship.
Through our service centres in Broome and Derby we are able to provide access to food, clothing and fuel vouchers, assistance with short term accommodation, access to financial counsellors and help with budgeting on a limited income from service centres located across the Kimberley.
Thanks to our funding partners we are able to provide a Breakfast Program in Broome that offers people living on a Centrelink income access to homelessness support, visiting services, nutritional meals, shower facilities, and donated clothing on Monday-Wednesday-Friday from our Breakfast Centre located at 27 Robinson Street Broome, which is open from 8:00am – 9:30am.
Services are funded by Australia’s Department of Social Services & WA’s Lotterywest
